Sunday Morning has several ways to help.  Contact the Church Office or a point listed if you would like more information.

  1. Church Door Greeter - We have several doors where EVERYONE should be welcomed as they enter God's House
  2. Lay Reader - If you like to read and help lead worship, you are invited to work alongside the pastor for the opening part of worship.  - This is different from a traditional worship leader.
  3. Parking Attendants - Parking attendants are the first people who get to welcome people, lead new people into the building, and to help find parking on those busy Sunday's
  4. Sunday School Teachers/Assistants - The need for help in our Sunday School Class(es) are always a need.  We promise to help teach our young people in getting to know God and this is a great way to fulfill that promise.
  5. Tech Team - the slides and streaming of our service takes several hands who are good with technology.  This does require some additional training, but we can make that happen.
  6. Fellowship Host - Harlingen Church loves their fellowship.  For some people, the time spent with friends after worship is a big part of their week.  Hosting fellowship with treats, coffee and drinks is a great way to help everyone, new and long-time, feel welcomed.
  7. Joyful Noise (Praise Team) - Joyful Noise practices on Wednesdays and helps to lead worship most weeks of the year.  They sing a combination of some of the gospel country blends along with some of today's more contemporary praise songs.  Speak to a member of Joyful Noise for more information.
  8. Harlingen Choral Ensemble - This ensemble is more along the lines of the traditional church choir singing praise songs roughly once a month.
  9. Sunday Security Team - The Security team helps to make sure doors are locked once worship begins and works to make sure everyone is safe, whether it be to address concerns of health, disruption, or anything else on a Sunday morning.
