There is always a need for small group leaders.  Without them, groups become too large (no longer a "small group") and after a length of time, the relationships built within can make newcomers feel a bit uncomfortable, as if they don't belong.  Additionally, we often do not have a group that may be conducive to your schedule.

Being a leader is not difficult.  For many, it is willing to set a time and maybe offer a place to meet like your home.  It doesn't require hours of cleaning, prepping a meal and a study.  In fact, the best small groups share the load.  They will rotate locations, refreshments or meals (depending on the group) as well who leads the study for the week.  Additionally, Harlingen Church has a great collection of studies from Bible studies to Faith Living studies.  These are located in the church office library and can be checked out by anyone.

Additionally, training will be provided to anyone who wishes to start a new group.  Just ask and it will be given.
