Harlingen Church believes in serving the community in as many ways as possible.  One passion of ours is the compassionate care of people who are hurting or lacking in our own back yard.  Below you will find several local or national organizations whom we support as well as links to their sites.

Al Anon

A support group to help you move through the grief process

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.  Our next group will start in September 2024

Feeding Hand Food Pantry
Aiding those with food insecurity within Somerset County, NJ

Feeding Hands exists to live out God’s commandment to care for the poor by loving and serving our neighbors in need.

Through collection of food at the church (specifically on the first Sunday of the month) and with occassional partner visits to help with distribution, Harlingen Church works to help Feeding Hands address the needs of food insecurities in our community.
